I am speechless. Guy Thompson; A motion effects and post production genius has agreed to take his skills to the Hurricane Music Video (as Visual Effects Supervisor). When I spoke with him, I mentioned the importance of the post production and effects, which in my eyes can make or break a video. He totally agreed and is very excited to be involved in the project.
Just to give you an idea of how big a deal this is for the Fixd crew, here is a sample breakdown of the videos that Guy has worked on:
CITROEN Ice Skater – 40sec Agency Version: Guy was heavily involved throughout the post-production sending new shots back and forth between the editing crew and animation team. Read more here.
Robbie Williams – Rudebox Album Launch – 30sec: Guy managed a team of 3D animators and Shake compositors to get the shots. He also created various textures for the 3D scenes and composited 3 of the shots. Read more here.
